See below for information about existing Black Lotus Reiki programs. If you know of or represent an organization and are interested in hosting Reiki sessions at your location, please get touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to discuss partnering with you to offer Reiki in the community!
Reiki for Recovery
Location: River Family Wellness, Callicoon, NY
Reiki for Recovery is a free program for anyone looking to overcome drug addiction, and for those working to resist the pressure to experiment with drugs. My hope is to offer an alternative pathway for coping with life's challenges, and to guide others through self study and exploration so they may find the strength within themselves to face any hardship with courage, compassion, and grace.
Every other Sunday I will be offering a number of private 1-hour Reiki sessions. Private sessions are available by appointment only. Learn more about Reiki here, or visit the Booking page to make an appointment.
In addition, the program will offer biweekly group meetings (beginning in June) where participants can grow in their spiritual practice and work toward healing in a supportive community environment. We will explore various spiritual and psychological concepts such as receiving and interpreting signs, shadow work & the subconscious, Jungian archetypes, the 7 major chakras, feminine & masculine energies (yin & yang) and ways to exercise them, different outlets for self expression, guided meditations, journey work, and dream interpretation, to name a few.
Group meetings are intended as a place of fellowship for members to express themselves freely and without judgment as we uncover our core wounds and the limiting beliefs holding us back. Together, we will create an atmosphere of harmony and understanding where we can transform our pain by working toward self love and acceptance.
This program is made possible through the generosity of Dawn Hyde and Jason Barnes, Co-Creators of River Family Wellness, who are allowing our use of the space (learn more about Dawn and Jason here!). Though this is a free program, monetary donations of any size will be gratefully accepted in support of River Family Wellness, so that they can continue offering free and low cost programs to promote health, healing, and well-being in their community.
